im guessing that most of the people that play this game and race in the championship use a steering wheel to play the game with?

if so what wheels do you guys use? im just about to finally purchase my first wheel and just wondered what others used and if they had any suggestions on the best one?

G27 is a very good wheel for its price. There are some wheels out there that "claim" to be better, but can get up into the $1000 (U.S) range. I have a G25 and it's been flawless for the last 2 and a half years and I race with it putting in 1000 miles or so a week. You should be extremely happy with it.

yeh iv been doing alot of research before buying, I was trying to look for a good second hand G25 on ebay but they're all rediculously expensive so I decided to just go for the G27
the adjustable pedals, helical gears and more buttons were what swayed it for me, but then I was hoping to use sequental gears which im not going to be able to do but im really looking forward to it arriving

I look forward to racing against you all soon

Soon I will be using this tho:

Its my F1 wheel project that I started a month ago. Right now I have the basic shape and just trying to figure our best layout for all the buttons. After that going to make a mdf model for mould and then I will make the final version out of the carbon fibre=)

I'm thinking of getting a Logitech Driving Force EX, since that is all I can afford. Has anyone had any experience with this?

There is a guy who actually makes those displays, grips are from a random racing wheel that I modified. As for switches, well that's the easy part, they are available in most electrical shops. If I am successful with this wheel I am actually planning to make few of them for sale.
